What were the changes in the design?The 2022 Alto K10 has now completely changed in appearance. Looks quite fresh. However, these are not standard on these wheels and you also get to see these wheel covers with honey-comb pattern. The door handles are in body color and the ORVMs are painted black which spoils the side profile a bit. The company could have given body color ORVMs here. Longer than the old Alto. The wheelbase is also more visible. Coming to the rear profile, you get to see the use of honeycomb pattern even in the tail lamps given here with a very simple look.
What’s special about the interior?The way you get to see the exterior of the new Alto K10 is completely new. Similarly, you will get to see a complete change in the interior as well. The big change is the 7-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system, which we have seen in other Maruti vehicles as well, but this is the first time in the Alto K10. Not only this, it also comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. However, the rear parking camera is lacking, especially in the top variant. Apart from this, the company has given steering mounted controls in this top variant. Apart from this, you are being given a 12V socket with USB charging port in it. Like the old model, the AC manual is available, but now it looks a bit better in appearance. However, in the standard base model, you are being given basic features like air condition, power windows and power steering.
Good leg room is provided in the second row. Shoulder room is also very good to see. Two people can easily sit, but 3 people can be a bit difficult. However, here you do not get power windows and no adjustable headrest, which I feel needs a little attention from the company on the rear seats. Engine and performance:The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has a new 1000 cc dual jet, dual VVT engine. This engine generates power of 66.62 PS and torque of 89 Nm. The engine of the new Maruti Alto has become quite refined as compared to the old Alto and also looks more powerful to run. In terms of mileage with both the gearboxes, manual and AGS give you a comfortable range of 23-24 kmpl on highways in rear world condition. At the same time, you will easily get a mileage of 21-22 kmpl in city condition.
